Today we celebrated Ross' birthday with several members of the Duncan extended family in Paonia. Let me explain the candles on the cake. Grandma Bass made a comment to Charlene in the hospital that she would not get any B-day cake this year. She passed away on 26 September and her b-day was today. Grandma Bass and I shared the same birthday, 14 October. Grandma would have been 80. Charlene told her in the hospital that we would put extra candles on my cake.
On the drive home, we experienced snow on the mountain passes. We were fortunate that it did not stick on the road. We did experience a little slush on the road just pass Eisenhower tunnel however the traveling was fairly smooth. We still made it home right at four and half hours. Happy Birthday Ross. Sorry we didn't call and tell you that. I had no clue that it was your Birthday anyway. Bethany doesn't tell me anything. Hope that it was a great B-day, and may you have many more.
Hey this is great! Bobbi just gave me your blog address. I hope all is going well. It sounds like Alisa is close. We'll have to have her come visit sometime when Caitlin is home.
