Bentonville Arkansas Temple

I (Ross) was able to attend the Bentonville Arkansas Temple on 3 January.  I was able to participate in Initiatory, Sealing, and one Endowment ordinance. On the way home, the missionaries texted me and asked me if I could join them for a 6pm appointment in ElDo.  I called Charlene and since most of the family was and still is sick, nothing else was planned, so I accepted the missionaries' invitation.  We had a good visit with "Joyce".

30 Aug 2025 Springfield Cardinals Game

 Everyone that could, donated blood back in the early summer and received coupons for two General Admission tickets.  Because of all the traveling through the summer, yesterday was out last opportunity to use the tickets.  We had to purchase two additional tickets, which cost $28 and some change. We tailgated at the beginning and had chicken salad with homemade sour dough rolls in the parking area.

 We sat in Section A and had a great time.  The Cardinals led most of the game, but gave up the lead in the 9th inning when it became tied, Midland Rockhounds took the lead in the top of the 10th inning and the Cardinals won it on a home run in the bottom of the 10th.  GREAT GAME!

Papa - Helaman Date Night

 Josiah has been at a Monett Stake YM's Campout all week and Friday night was Dad's Night so Chris met up with him on Friday and spent the night with the group.  That left Helaman and I as the only two boys in the house, with 10 girls. Great Grandma, Granny, Alisa, the Beach girls, Darci, and the Jensen girls.

So, Helaman and I went on a Papa / Grandson date.  Helaman said he wanted ice cream, a corn dog, and fries for dinner so we went to Sonic in Stockton.  I had Mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and a bottle of water. We shared a small Oreo Cookie Blast.

After dinner, we bowled two games, well, Helaman bowled two games and then we returned home to find the girls just starting a movie. So, Helaman and I went up stairs and watched the "Super Mario Brothers Movie" on my laptop.
